4F were given the challenge of creating an alternative ending to the story Wolves by Emily Gravett.  Here is an example:

The worried wolf looked around cautiously and ate the raw rabbit.  Suddenly an abundance of ravenous rabbits came with shot guns and they shot the wolf dead! One rabbit said, “We should stuff him!”

“No!” said another rabbit. “We should slice his head off and stick it to our burrow door to show everyone that we killed the wolf!”

“YEAH!” all the rabbits said in unison.   And so they did.

So nobody attacked the brave rabbits again.  Oh and the wolf’s body was eaten by a fussy fox.

Thank you to all of you who came to look around our art gallery.  The children had great fun putting their pieces of art together and looking at famous paintings during a visit from an artist.

We had a fantastic week making mussels, reeds, bubbles, sand and two eels to add to our wooden wave.  We wove wool to make sand on the bottom of the Estuary, we used modroc to make reeds and two eels.  Then we painted over the modroc and now they are in the process of being vanished.  Watch this space for the finished canvas.
